You can be the keeper of your body TRUTHS

I’ve been talking a lot lately about you being in the driver’s seat of your own body and you being the keeper of your body truths. To me it’s one of the most powerful ways we can choose to live your life. And I’ll admit I’m personally on a mission to spread this idea and ideal as far and wide as I can.

I know there are so many methods and modalities out there for anyone looking to “get fit” or learn Pilates. Hell, you could even Google “learn Pilates” right now and find thousands of free videos out there. And I think that’s wonderful.

But here’s what I’ve noticed is lacking in those videos:

There aren’t a lot of explanation of how YOUR body works.

There isn’t a lot that helps you dissect and discover what movement means to YOU.

There aren’t a lot of opportunities to receive actual guidance and expert advice.

There aren’t a lot of options to learn about your anatomy short of getting into med school or committing to (literally) dissecting a cadaver. (Even as a body-person that idea makes my stomach churn.)

Let’s change that, shall we?

It’s time to toss out those old ideas and beliefs that you just can’t have access to what your body needs, that someone else knows better than you, or that there’s no way you can sense into your own body. It’s time to know that you CAN learn your personal anatomy. Which makes me all the more happy to announce that after over a year of creation, I have a way that you can.

This April will be the start of my self-study Pilates program that encourages you to awaken your strength by learning about your body from the inside, out.

Knowing your body and being able to sense into what’s going on in your body is such an important step toward living a healthier, and I believe, a happier life.
